Our policy is to help resolve any problem arising out Refunds, Exchanges and Warranty Claims as it is in our best interest to have a satisfied customer! We will be upfront and honest about our products and services on offer and will be governed by the provisions contained within the New Zealand Fair Trading Act 1986 and New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.
What happens when you receive an incorrectly supplied product?
If we have sent you a product which is different to what is listed on your invoice we will be happy to make an exchange and supply you the replacement product. The replacement will be delivered Freight Free.
- The product(s) must be returned within 7 days of receipt.
- The product(s) must be in original, undamaged packaging.
- The product(s) must not be used.
What about Refunds or Exchanges?
The products CANNOT be returned or exchanged if you simply changed your mind. Refunds and Exchanges are permitted only where the product purchased has manufacturing faults or defects.
Please contact us by before you make a return. Our Sales team has to confirm and authorizes such a return by email. The product will be exchanged only in such cases were :-
- The product must be returned within 10 days of receipt.
- The product must be in original, undamaged packaging.
How do you manage warranty returns for Products and Services?
All new products purchased from Clive Dicks Limited are covered by standard manufacturer’s warranty. The duration of this warranty vary from 6 months to two years depending on the product. Some manufacturers offer extended warranty on certain parts of the machine or whole machine.
The repair or service warranty is only for 6 months. We warranty up to one year all electrical part(s) replaced during the repair process.
Generally speaking, warranties cover manufacturing faults and defects. They do not cover damage caused by abuse or general wear and tear etc. If you feel that any product purchased from Clive Dicks Limited has developed a fault then please contact us before returning goods.If the goods need to be returned then
- The products must be returned within the warranty period along with poof of purchase.
- The customer will bear all the freight costs.
- The products returned will be first assessed by our Sales Department in conjunction with our supplier. The replacement goods will be dispatched once approved. We will contact you in cases that are not deemed to be valid for warranty.
New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993
The Consumer Guarantee Act sets out minimum standards for goods sold in New Zealand. In the event that goods sold are not of good quality or are faulty, the customer has the right to a repair, replacement or a refund.
New Zealand Fair Trading Act 1986
The Fair Trading Act is designed to protect the customer being misled, either intentionally or unintentionally. This applies to all aspects of the promotion and sale of goods and services including: pricing; where the product was made; where the product is from; the meeting of New Zealand safety standards; availability of products in-store and the sales techniques used. The Commerce Commission enforces the Fair Trading Act 1986.
